Hospitality Development & Operations Leader | 34+ Years of Experience
Joydeep is a senior hospitality professional with over three decades of experience in hotel operations, project development, and strategic management. A graduate of Calcutta University and a Hotel Management Diploma holder from IHMCTAN (1991), he has held leadership roles with global brands including Best Western, Holiday Inn, The Choice Group (UAE), Reliance Industries Ltd., and The Cambay Group of Hotels.
He brings deep expertise in pre-opening strategies, post-launch operations, SOP design, revenue management, and team training. His leadership has been instrumental in the successful execution of numerous projects across India and abroad.
In Jalandhar, Joydeep has personally led six major hotel developments: Hotel Ambassador, Hotel Mariton, AGI Infra, Radisson (Proposed – GGR Clubs Pvt. Ltd.), Park Inn & Suites by Radisson (PTP Business Pvt. Ltd.), Hyatt Place (WWHS Pvt. Ltd.)-Under Construction.
Joydeep’s leadership philosophy centers on operational discipline, quality assurance, and building high-performance teams. He is known for his “lead by example” approach and strong focus on cost optimization, guest experience, and long-term profitability.

With over 25 years of experience, Jagjit Singh Palhan leads Palhan Engineering Industries, specializing in innovative automation and engineering solutions across India and globally. A graduate in Machine and Plant Design with Structural Engineering, he has successfully delivered 150+ projects in sectors including pellet plants, refineries, and solvent extraction units. Esteemed clients include AMUL, NDDB, Indian Army, Adani, Reliance, and international firms in Bangladesh, Thailand, and Egypt.
Recently, he expanded into the hospitality sector, launching a hotel venture that reflects his passion for quality, precision, and guest experience. Driven by innovation and excellence, he continues to build impact across industries.
